About

Deep practice, real-world traction.

Rebecca Long Okura is a Zen teacher — a Sensei — and a coach who has spent two decades learning how clarity actually arrives: not by pushing harder, but by sitting still long enough to see clearly, then acting without hesitation.

She has studied Zen since 2004 in the White Plum lineage. A dharma successor under Daniel Doen Silberberg Roshi, founder of Lost Coin Zen, she received transmission in 2020 and became a teacher in her own right.

Rebecca is also a mother, the managing attorney of a law firm with three associate lawyers, a student of Mandarin and classical Chinese, an antiquarian book collector, and a Nagual — which is why her coaching speaks fluently to the part of you that runs a business and the part of you that wants to live well.

Most of what stops you isn’t real — it’s conditioning, running on autopilot.

Zen-based coaching helps you catch the mechanical patterns and negative thinking that distort what you see — so you can meet reality as it is and move with it: present, effortless, unstuck. That’s where momentum stops being a fight.

“Her blend of mindfulness and strategic guidance helped me navigate challenges with clarity and calm — turning my chaotic startup into a thriving, balanced enterprise. She’s not just a coach; she’s a catalyst for profound change.”
